PointsBazaar's trading process is simple and clear, broken down into five main stages:
Browse buy and sell posts on the platform to find trading partners that match your needs. Filter by airline, quantity, price, and more to quickly find ideal transactions. Or create your own buy/sell post and wait for other users to reach out.
Once you've found a suitable trading partner, both parties can negotiate details like price, quantity, and delivery timeline. You can propose unlimited revisions until both sides reach agreement. All negotiation history is recorded to ensure transparency.
Once terms are agreed upon, a smart contract is automatically deployed to the Base blockchain. The buyer deposits funds into the blockchain escrow account. These funds are securely locked and will only be released to the seller upon transaction completion. PointsBazaar cannot access these funds.
After receiving escrow confirmation, the seller begins transferring miles/points to the buyer's account. The seller must provide proof of transfer (such as screenshots or transfer records). The buyer can view all proof documents in the communications interface.
Once the buyer receives the miles/points, they confirm receipt within the buyer protection period. Upon confirmation, the escrowed funds are automatically released to the seller. If any issues arise, the buyer can raise a dispute during the buyer protection period, and PointsBazaar will mediate.
